Extremely nice, passionate about what she teaches, and really wants students to do well. That being said, she does have class favorites and the exams are very specific.

Doesn't really explain material that well and speaks very softly so hard to hear sometimes. Not the best but not the worst, just pay attention in class and do homework and you should be fine.
Very easy class but EXTREMELY boring. Midterms and finals are both very straightforward, don't really need to pay attention in class or do the readings as long as you study the slides before the test. Easy grader but she is a little weird with leaving the classroom and absences.
Very nice and approachable, also very understanding of any delays or mistakes. Not that much work and she always tries to make class as interesting as possible.
Not very approachable and obviously has favorites within her classes. Essays are a lot of work and she is a decently harsh graders with only a few students per class getting higher than a B+ on each essay. Decently light amount of homework except for essays.

GOAT
Lectures are beyond confusing, they are little to no help on exams. Exams are open note which is nice but it doesn't really end up helping with how little time you have to complete the exams. Also a very weird and uncomfortable sense of humour.
I really love Daniele, great professor, lovely person, but her lecture style was not for me. It was all over the place and I couldn't properly. retain the information. She speaks really fast and covers so much material, it's just crazy to catch up. It was one of my most miserable classes
love prof matus!! his lectures can we tough to pay attention to because his slides are only images but he tries to keep in engaging. (also classes are short and often lets us out early)
professor sapsford is so awesome i love him!!! he definitely expects a lot from you but he helps you get there and is super engaging
She is very nice and very quirky. She will often laugh at herself but it makes the class fun. The workload can be decent at times. She is really understanding when it comes to deadlines and if you need to miss a class. She likes to give thoughtful feedback to everyone. Not a super easy A.
Chris is so funny and engaging in class. Cares a lot about linguistics and makes it actually fun to learn. Workload was not too bad and he is not a harsh grader. Def recommend!
HIST 1732 The Boston College goat of history professors. Genuinely an incredibly engaging lecturer. All students' voices are appreciated in the class, and feedback on essays is precise and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.
Super sweet and cares about her students. Very good at explaining and walking you through the writing process. Fair grader and reasonable workload
Super sweet and cares about her students. She's a pretty easy/fair grader, and we would get let out of class early all the time. Highly recommend
Not sure what these bad reviews are about. Fair grader, workload reasonable, pretty respectful toward students. Lecturers are fine and sometimes interesting though not super dynamic
Professor Hogan is pretty engaging, and her class is interesting. It's a lot of notes as it's a lecture, but it feels like a smaller class than it is because of how interactive she is.
ENGL1736 · Memory and Representation: The Literature of Remembering
Professor Boesky is the sweetest woman at Boston College. She genuinely cares about what she teaches and is genuinely curious about what you have to say. If you feel stuck on a paper, just go to her office hours and talk it out. She is a fair grader and I would take this class again.
PSYC1701 · Memory and Representation: The Science of Remembering
Professor Kensinger is one of my favorite professors. She is incredibly knowledgeable, and I enjoyed the assignments she tasked us with in this course. It's not just memorizing how memory works, but applying it to various projects.
Very sweet and a good lecturer- genuinely wants students to learn.
Greatest professor you'll find on this campus. Class was goated too

YES
The undisputed goat
Unfortunately she isn't the clearest with due dates/communicating what's expected, but in return she is very lenient with extensions. Will give you an extra week to write a paper. Class is moderately interesting and grading isn't hard. Readings aren't necessary but you should know the general ideas
PHIL1091 · Perspectives on Western Culture II/Perspectives II
best teacher ever so funny and engaging i love his class so much
POLI1021 · How to Rule the World: Introduction to Political Theory
this my goat right here
A lot of work, too much for an art core. If you're looking to take an art core, take something or someone else.
Class can be a bit boring at times, however, she goes into great depth with the readings and essays/tests are decently easy. She is super nice and well knowledgeable! :)
Highly recommend. She genuinely cares about her students. Workload is extremely manageable. Best prof you can have for FYWS. Take her if you have the chance!!!!
He tricks you in the beginning with easy quizes. Then he ramps it up. I am now failing this class. GPA destroyed no chance at internship. Do not take
