Lovely and kind woman who really just wants the class to engage with her teaching. Tests were hard but fair and very easy to do well on if you really put the time and effort into them. She is much better than the other bio professors from what I have heard.
Honestly the best Molecules and Cells professor. But expect a B going in. She curves to B - average. Also, be prepared for "SELECT ALL THAT APPLY" questions. Really attentive and caring professor. Attendance not required. Homeworks and in-class activities "help" prepare you for midterms.
There is no way around molecules and cells. It is a hard class, and every professor is hard. I thought Taghian explained the material well, though. She is very available outside of class and loves to get to personally know her students. Your grade is basically your exam grade, but it is curved.
Mols and Cells is super hard no matter who you take it with, but Dunn is really caring and tries to engage the class. If she gives advice on how to do better, TAKE IT. The exams are pretty hard but if you go to office hours and study consistently instead of cramming, it is manageable.
She is a very kind person and great teacher but her tests are very hard. Lectures are fast paced and a lot of information is covered. The averages on tests are fairly low but there is a curve. Definitely a hard class but she offers a lot of office hours and help to anyone who needs!
I really love Daniele, great professor, lovely person, but her lecture style was not for me. It was all over the place and I couldn't properly. retain the information. She speaks really fast and covers so much material, it's just crazy to catch up. It was one of my most miserable classes
Greatest professor you'll find on this campus. Class was goated too
The undisputed goat
Pretty much all review if you took AP Bio. The exams were generally pretty hard and detailed but Professor Taghian is very receptive and helpful in office hours.
I was nervous going into this class that Dr. Das's class would be bad, but after taking it, the reviews were very wrong. Her tests accurately reflect the content we learned in class, and she doesn't want her students to memorize information, rather understand how things make sense in biology.
Love Taghian. She is a very kind professor and is quite approachable. Her tests are definitely hard, but studying for the tests really pushed me to be my best and taught me how to study for STEM based classes in college. I will always be proudest of my Taghian Tests.
She is the best professor I've had at BC so far! Her exams are hard but she prepares you well if you pay attention during lectures and attend office hours.
