Edward Taylor is the GOAT I cannot stress that enough. Do not take any other professor this guy is THE MAN. No homework, quizzes are straight forward, he tells you what's on the final, and he's a very generous grader. He actually made accounting fun.

Prof. Nguyen is the goat! Should definitely take him; 4 major essays/assignments and very simple readings and assignments that take less than an hour per week; Would recommend for FWS!

Was clutch in helping us finish our EFS II Final Project---he stuck it out to the very end with us. Very insightful advice and genuinely wanted to help us! Also, very knowledgeable about circuits and excellent at troubleshooting.

Please do not take this class. No matter how hard you try, this class will be so disrespectful of your time as a student, and the difference in a grade could be a single wrong problem in one of the 80 assignments you take in the semester. Just very disrespectful and a horribly structured class.

This class is very easy to do well in. Quizzes are open note and tests are just versions of the quiz questions. The lectures are fairly interesting. Would recommend.

She's a nice person, but she grades so harshly and has so much homework due every class. I would seriously NOT recommend. FYWS is supposed to be an easy A class and this professor made it her personal job to give you a bad grade.

The American-Intellectual incarnate. A man that George Washington would be proud to call an American: A man that God would be proud to call one of his children. Discussion focused, he lets students talk and learn from everyone in the class. You need to sign up for this class right now.

very unengaging blamed whole class of using ai chat bots when we all wrote of a simple political science/history concept in our papers that we all learned in middle school/hs ... also random grader, will grade some people's papers way easier then others

Nice guy who is super knowledgeable about politics. However, your entire grade is based on 3 exams which have nothing to do with lectures. Each test requires literally hundreds of pages of dense readings. Unnecessarily hard.

Good heart. Emphasizes being a team. To get a good grade you have to talk in class so take notes on the main points of the readings he assigns.

She's an awesome teacher and super knowledgable about the subject. Can be a tough grader but gives lots of extra credit on the exams. Would definitely take again.

Absolutely the best Professor I have had. Incredibly fun and nice but with a class that is incredibly efficient. Though I never felt myself overwhelmed with work, I see the same amount if not more growth as my friends in other classes. 100% recommend, DJ is my GOAT.

Professor Alev is a great professor! Although operations is a boring class at time, she does a great job to make the material as straightforward as possible. She is very easy to reach outside of class and super fair with her grading. Definitely take her class!

Straight forward in-class essays where he gives you concise and easy to follow study guides beforehand. Never any homework and prof is super personable and entertaining.

Absolutely unnecessary amount of work compared to other classes, you are likely to go through 50% more readings as well as have double the amount of exams, absolute hell of a class, I am Double majoring in Math/comp sci and this class took more time and effort than both my major classes combined.

If you can read music then the class isn't that hard. If you can't read music then you 1000% should not take this class. She is a good professor who cares about the students and is incredibly knowledgeable in the topic, but it fully comes down to if you can read music or not.

Great teacher, very passionate about the stuff. Very participation based, but if you participate she will reward you. If you study and do the work you'll get at least a B for sure. I really liked her as a person

Long lectures but he cares about what he's teaching and tries to make it interesting. He wants everyone to know that he's smarter than them, and the class is all him talking. The problem sets are exactly what is on the test, so really try to learn the stuff on them.

The lectures are long and boring, and the tests are hard. He is hard to understand sometimes, and there are no other points in the class besides the tests.

Great teacher overall. Asked to change my lit core's teacher next semester to be with her (was put with a random teacher)

She's funny, teaches the material well almost in a high school level clarity and personable way. She assigns a lot of homework but it's very doable. The exams are hard but you learn A LOT really quickly about calculus.

Her lectures are a little drawn out but the exams are easy, the final is only about one unit not the entire class and she's funny.

Alex is actually the goat. Work outside of class is minimal and only have 4 main assignments. In class, discussions were so interesting and random, and while I almost never agreed with his opinion, the debates were respectful and funny. Highly recommend taking his class to fulfill core

I had him for calc 2 and he was so so nice and he didn't go super fast and always went over things if people asked. Tests are also easy

More difficult than what you will expect. Lecture heavy, but fun materials.
