Bad teacher but tests are fair, and not weighted heavily. About 50 percent of your grade is in class Poll EV questions and homework (takes 5-15 minutes) if you attend every class, it is relatively easy to get an A.
I Recommend. Carolyn is super nice and cares a lot about the material. Passion speaks loudly as a teacher. Exams are online so its light.
Kinda cool to learn how to paint and sammy def pushes you to do your best work. He is very harsh in critiques and this is not an A class at all. Grade is based on like 4 assignments and its so subjective. I grind and feel confident in my art and have a B+.
Very straight forward in terms of structure. She is available for help and answers questions very happily inside and outside of class. Practice exams were easier than real exams which was kinda tough.
light work. Take this teacher its easy.
Took socyo stats and it was fine. I think the class wasn't super hard until after the midterm when we suddenly had multiple assignments due each week and it got less manageable. Overall not the worst but wouldn't necessarily recommend it. The final exam took people 4 hours also.
Insanely tough grader with no curve. Goes very fast through slides, with not a lot of explanation.
Whatever you do don't take this class. He is the worst teacher and an even tougher grader. You will dread waking up in the morning to go to this class. He makes me want to cry every day
Relatively harsh grader but such a sweet soul who genuinely cares for her students. Would recommend for pulse
Had her for Elementary I and II Chinese practicum and she was the best! She is very understanding and listens to her students. Makes sure that your tones are correct all the time. From the beginning of the year to the end of the year, students who's tones were terrible improved a lot!
He is a really fun professor, and the tests were pretty manageable if you read the slides and look over the textbook. The curve was pretty decent. Would not recommend if you are a non-STEM person (probably should take the other intro psych class)
Very rigorous workload but she is willing to work with you and help you understand. She offers a lot of extra credit opportunities and makeup exams. Get ready to read and write math. I am referring to Functions and Diff Calc which I took last yr - Fall of 2022
Levear is the best CS2 prof. His lectures are well structured and easy to follow. Always willing to answer questions and available outside of class.
He is a very knowledgeable professor and a decent lecturer. Homework is very reasonable and he gives lots of review and practice exams with solutions for the tests.
He is clearly knowledgeable, but his lectures are unstructured and not very helpful. Expect to teach yourself most of the material in the class.
pretty boring lectures - I zoned out for 75% of them every time. But very easy class. Few readings and hw. Questions given before the midterm and easy take-home midterm. He's quirky but its impossible not to like the guy too.
Easy grader. Show up and you will pass. She is understanding and caring. Class is often boring and she doesn't explain instructions well.
Professor Wei is awesome! She is a very kind and friendly person and a great teacher. Exams are fair and work is super manageable. Her lectures are engaging as well. She is always available for office hours and will answer any questions. One of the best profs I've had here!
Professor Blusten clearly explains material and is very enthusiastic about the course.
I took ASL I and II with "Dale" and it was awesome. Def only take this if you think ASL is cool and are interested in it, but I highly recommend. It's super cool being able to sign to friends and the teacher is funny and inspiring.
Super fun class and Prof. Luke is super fun. Learned a lot about acting from his feedback/critique and was able to grow as an actor through learning different acting styles.
Took Fundamentals of Music Theory with her. Her energy is contagious. She is always very positive and super passionate. She cares about her students.
Took Making the Modern World with Prof. Krones. He is passionate about what he teaches but explains engineering concepts a bit quickly. Be prepared to go to extra help and work hard.

Prof. Tonn is a great teacher who is passionate about what she teaches. She is also kind and understanding and will help you.
Prof. Callahan is engaging and fun. The class is interesting, but be ready for a lot of homework.
Awesome class. Discussion-based class. Lots of student participation with great guidance by Prof. Robinette. Very intellectually engaging. Prof. Robinette is a wonderful teacher.
Mctague is exceptional, and his logic course was great, but brace yourself for the final. It will break you! best of luck XD
Hands down the most caring and sincere Prof I've had at BC. She's just a normal person who wants to help you learn history (what more could you ask for?). Also - make sure you go to class because every now and then she'll give extra credit to those who show up.
Professor Tomic is great - In his econ examples he sometimes use Nikola Jokić to explain the concept......(pretty BALLER if you ask me)
