Take him for whatever you can - great teacher, super interesting guy, flexible, nice, probably my favorite at BC. not a harsh grader which is nice, and his classes are intellectually challenging without being overbearing or requiring a huge workload. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Awesome class. Cool stories about prof getting kicked out of Russia. Genuinely a very intellectually stimulating class that forces students to think for themselves about the state of the world. Workload and grading was demanding but not too demanding.
