This course presents both the traditional and the cutting-edge deep-learning-based image processing algorithms with particular emphasis on problems in biomedical research. It covers image acquisition, visualization, filtering, enhancement, registration, classification, segmentation and detection. The course goal is to provide hands-on coding experience for motivated undergraduates and first year PSYC/BIO graduate students in a wide range of image modalities with various popular computational tools.
