This is an introductory course in computer programming based on Python (a language suitable for all business and analytics programs). The course emphasizes coding literacy and teaches coding skills that are relevant for business decision makers. This course will give students the knowledge and confidence to apply coding to a business problem, and the ability to go from a problem statement to a repeatable set of steps for solving the problem in a general way. It will enable students who might not code professionally to work effectively with colleagues who do, and it will equip interested students to develop significant programs of their own.STEM-Designated.
