Performance Course. In this workshop students will learn a solo song and a duet or trio from the Musical Theater or Opera repertoire. These numbers will be staged for a performance that will take place at the end of the semester. Each week, students will be coached on their songs, addressing vocal, musical, and acting aspects. Some performers may incorporate others in their scenes, as well as dialogue or choreography when appropriate. Rehearsals will be on Saturdays during the spring semester, and Saturdays alternating with Sundays during the fall (according to the home football game schedule). Performance for semester TBA.
